Rakia Georgia and EUGBC organized a joint event on Poti Free Industrial Zone presentation

On February 11th, EU-Georgia Business Council and its Member Rakia Georgia, in cooperation with Business Association of Georgia (BAG) and Amcham Georgia, organized a joint event on Poti Free Industrial Zone (FIZ) presentation.

The event took place at the Sheraton Metechi Palace in Tbilisi. The aim of the presentation was to introduce Poti Free Industrial Zone’s project and describe all benefits it offers to potential investors. The participants of the event included Members of EUGBC, Amcham Georgia and BAG.

The General Director of Rakia Georgia Free Industrial Zone, Doctor Chatterji and EUGBC Secretary General, Konstantin Zaldastanishvili welcomed the participants of event.

Chief Marketing Executive of Rakia Georgia, Joseph Nibladze delivered a comprehensive presentation on Rakia Free Industrial Zone and informed guests on business opportunities and benefits offered in Poti FIZ. Remarks regarding tax issues were made by Chief Accountant of Rakia Georgia, Nato Pipia. In addition, Giorgi Gvalia, Investor Coordinator of Velstand & Erfolg – an official license holder company of Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) – delivered a speech on the cooperation of OPIC and Rakia Georgia.

The presentation on Rakia Georgia FIZ was followed by a lively discussion involving the representatives of Rakia Georgia and the business community.
