Board of directors

The EUGBC is managed by the Board consisting of a maximum of nine Directors. The number of Directors must at all times be lower than the number of Effective Members.

Only individuals who are representatives of Members belonging to any membership category, be it an Effective Member or an Affiliated Member, are eligible to run for the office of Director. Legal entities are not eligible to be Directors.

The Board of Directors shall operate as a collegiate body and have the most extensive powers to manage the EUGBC and shall have the power to carry out all actions necessary or useful for the realisation of the altruistic purpose of the EUGBC. All residual powers are granted to the Board.

The initial Board appointed in the time of the EUGBC's formation consist of three Directors. As membership grows so will the number of Directors on the Board.
